Reprecincting has never been so easy! Precinct Pro is simply the fastest way to create and maintain voting precincts.  Precinct Pro is a GIS (Geographic Information System) based application designed to support the visual adjustment precinct boundaries.  The software has built in tools for download of base map data from either a centralized State Internet web server or from Digital Engineering Corporation's free map server.

Once the database has been downloaded, and the existing precinct boundaries loaded, the user can begin the editing process.  As adjustments are completed, the system provides the user with numerous statistics including the number of registered voters, total population, voting age population, and any other desired racial demographic.

The system can also display the location of the geocoded voters, existing polling locations and roads, and other physical and/or political boundaries.  Completed plans are automatically error checked and can be posted to a centralized server.  The user can also create predefined and ad-hoc plots and reports displaying a variety of information.

Precinct Pro is developed based on mapping technology from ESRI, the world-wide leader in development of GIS and mapping systems.  The use of ESRI technology enables compatibility with over half a million other users world-wide and the ability to make use of thousands of existing data layers.  The following is a brief list of some of the key features of Precinct Pro:
