Maptician is a highly customizable GIS Browser created using ESRI's MapObjects 2 Technology. The software is designed to be easy to use yet provide a comprehensive palette of map analysis tools. Maptician can be centrally customized to provide simple GIS Browser functionality or be configured as a comprehensive desktop mapping tool.

Maptician's Administration database can provide each user with his own custom interface and unified access to an enterprise GIS Database. As an example, a user in the utilities department can open all layers related to Water lines with a single click. The data for water lines, valves, pumps and street center lines would automatically be opened and correctly symbolized.

Through additional extensions, ArcView and ArcGIS users can also make use of the Maptician unified data access tools. For users who desire extended functionality, Maptician offers a full array of analysis tools including, 17 GIS Overlay and statistical wizards, 3D Analysis, Address matching, Route Analysis, Manual and automated redistricting and shape editing functions.
