The autoBound Plan Manager enables users to quickly located and open plans for making edits. The Preview window provides both a map outlining the current boundaries of the selected plan and the current district tools. Users can, without opening the plan, preview any plans which they own or have been given access to. The Plan Manager also provides users the ability to copy, move, delete or create a new plan. New plans can be created from standard templates or be user defined.

The autoBound plan development environment provides the most comprehensive suite of tools designed to simplify the redistricting process. Multiple assignment tools enable users to select features from any of the available Tiger layers. Additional intelligent tools can automatically search for adjacent features which would help a district reach its desired target. All district population totals are dynamically calculated and displayed in an Excel compatible spreadsheet.

The use of a spreadsheet provides the users the ability to perform statistical analysis on district totals in a familiar environment without the need for export or import of data. Once a plan has been completed, users can run any of the standard reports of create custom reports using the report development system included with autoBound.
